“Do you have any manifest authority?” means do you have any proof from the Lord’s Book, as explained in verse 2: 111. The Fujjar have read these verses in the Arabic Qur’an, but their lifestyle is the exact opposite of the teachings of the Lord’s Book. So, their Ledger is in Sijjeen of Hell, as told in verse 83: 7. Since they hide and reject Adhikr, which is the Truth and Proof, as explained in verses 5: 48; 16: 44; 21: 24, they will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell. Such are the worst creatures, they are in the worst places, and they are the most astray, as explained in verses 8: 22; 17: 97-98; 25: 33-34. See explanation 2: 111-113; 9: 55, 85.
